Bump Watch: 40 Weeks

Size of baby: Pumpkin, just in time for Halloween.

Cravings: Sweets

What I'm looking forward to: Meeting this little girl. We're so close and it's a little nerve wracking. I'm so excited to meet her, but another part of me keeps thinking holy crap, we're going to have a baby soon!

Miss anything?: I miss my pre-pregnancy body. I'm ready to be able to move about freely without feeling aches and pains.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: She is still having her dance parties in there.

Gender: Girl!

Happy or Moody: Happy. Reed and I were able to spend the whole weekend together. It was nice hanging out and relaxing. We went to breakfast after church on Sunday because we figured it'd be the last time we would go out to eat for a while. We also spent a lot of time hanging out in bed watching TV.

Bump Watch: 39 Weeks

Size of baby: Watermelon, not my kind of visual since she's going to be coming out of me soon!

Cravings: Pineapple and sweets. I am packing on the pounds during the end, she needs to come soon. :)

What I'm looking forward to: Meeting this little girl.

Miss anything?: Sleep, sleeping through the night without peeing 9 times, going through the day without peeing 183 times, and shopping.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: The doctor said she's low and I've been feeling some movement lower than usual.

Gender: Girl!

Happy or Moody: Happy. Our doctor will let me go one week past our due date so we're going to have a baby sometime in the next two weeks. The house is clean, her room is ready, her clothes and diapers are washed, and we are so ready to meet her.

Bump Watch: 38 Weeks

Size of baby: As long as a stalk of rhubarb

Cravings: I didn't really crave anything this week.

What I'm looking forward to: Meeting this little girl.

Miss anything?: Sleep

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: I can tell she's running out of room in there, but I don't think she got the memo. Sometimes I feel like she's going to bust out of my stomach because there's so much pressure.

Gender: Girl!

Happy or Moody: Happy.

Bump Watch: 37 Weeks

Size of baby: As long as stalk of Swiss Chard.

Cravings: Pineapple

What I'm looking forward to: Meeting this little girl.

Miss anything?: Sleep

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: I'm listening to the Lion King soundtrack and she's dancing in there. Side note, Reed knows the word to every Lion King song!

Gender: Girl!

Happy or Moody: Happy. We've started our weekly appointments and so far, so good!

Bump Watch: 36 Weeks

Size of baby: Canary Melon

Cravings: McDonalds. I could eat there everyday. I don't, but I could.

What I'm looking forward to: I've been a busy bee the past two weeks and I should be able to take it easy until Sadie makes her arrival. I'm looking forward to some relaxation!

Miss anything?: Sleep

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: She was moving non-stop for three hours the other night. I'm a little worried that she put herself into the breech position because there was so much moving and stretching. Hopefully she was just working on her gymnastic routine.

Gender: Girl!

Happy or Moody: Happy. We're getting our last minute items taken care of and it's nice to see everything come together.

Bump Watch: 34 Weeks

Size of baby: Cantaloupe

Cravings: Pretty much anything and everything. I'm hungry all the time and kind of a bottomless pit.

What I'm looking forward to: We're getting closer to meeting her and I cannot wait!

Miss anything?: I feel like a 95 year old woman, something aches with every move or every step I take.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new. I probably won't be buying anything new since we're getting close to the end, unless it's a pretty wicked deal. And by pretty wicked deal, I mean free.

Movement: I had this moment one night where she was fist pumping so I put my hand on my stomach to feel her. I realized it was her little hand that I was feeling and that our hands were touching. Well, pretty much touching. There are some layers in the way, but it was pretty special to me.

Gender: Girl!

Happy or Moody: Happy. We had our maternity pictures done on Sunday and I am so excited to see how they turned out.

Bump Watch: 32 Weeks

Size of baby: Napa Cabbage

Cravings: Nothing this week.

What I'm looking forward to: My baby shower was over the weekend and we were spoiled!! Everything is in our family room right now and I can't wait to start putting everything away. I love organizing!!

Miss anything?: Energy, I wake up exhausted and get more tired as the day goes on.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new this week.

Movement: She kept me up for about an hour one night around 2:00 A.M. I think she was re-decorating.

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! The baby shower was amazing. It was so much fun seeing everyone and celebrating Sadie Mae. Reed and I are incredibly lucky to have such generous people in our lives.

Bump Watch: 31 Weeks

This week was one of the weeks where I barely see my husband so I took my picture myself. I have great skills, don't you think?

Size of baby: As long as a bunch of leeks.

Cravings: Oranges.

What I'm looking forward to: My baby shower is this weekend. I can't believe it! My sister and friend have been working really hard on it. I can't wait to see everything and everyone.

Miss anything?: Energy, I wake up exhausted and get more tired as the day goes on.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new this week.

Movement: She's been moving like crazy the past two days. Last night Reed and I sat for 30 minutes and watched my stomach move.

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! I've been less hormonal lately which has been such a blessing. I still shed a few random tears here and there, but nothing like before. I'm trying to enjoy these last few weeks of pregnancy. She's going to be here so soon. I had a dream that I gave birth. It was pretty realistic except for the fact that she was talking.

Bump Watch: 30 Weeks

Size of baby: Large Cabbage

Cravings: Sweets. This kid may be born with a KitKat sticker stuck to her forehead.

What I'm looking forward to: My baby shower. I can't believe it's time to celebrate already. I have a couple of friends flying in from out of town for the shower and I can't wait to hang out with them!

Miss anything?: Nothing this week.

Maternity clothes: I finally found a couple outfits! I found a dress that should work for the shower and an outfit to wear for our maternity pictures. I was getting really worried I'd have to wear something like what I'm wearing in this weeks picture.

Movement: Our little gymnast is stretching and moving like crazy.

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! Reed was off this past weekend and knocked quite a few things off his to do list. Plus, we celebrated his birthday and got to hang out. We had our childbirth class on Saturday and it made me want to get this show on the road and meet her!

Bump Watch: 29 Weeks

Size of baby: Large butternut squash. At our doctors appointment on Friday she said going forward the baby can gain up to 1/2 a pound each week until she's born. Wowza! I think Sadie may have started early because looking at the past few weeks I look noticeably bigger each week. Please don't be a 10 pound baby!! :)

Cravings: A hotdog and fries from the best little place in Glendale called Dazzos. Yum.

What I'm looking forward to: Reed is taking some time off this week so we can celebrate his birthday and get stuff done around the house for Sadie girl. He worked on some stuff this past weekend so his list isn't as long.

Miss anything?: I'm starting to have a hard time getting comfortable when going to sleep. My back is starting to hurt towards the end of the day and it's getting old sleeping on my side. I'm getting bigger so that makes it harder to roll over. Once I fall asleep I'm out, well until I have to get up to pee. The past few nights the baby has been moving around when I get up so I stay awake so I can enjoy those sweet little moments.

Maternity clothes: We're going shopping on Thursday so hopefully I can find some cute outfits.

Movement: She's been having dance parties in there. It's the most amazing feeling when she moves.

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! We're getting closer to meeting her. We see the doctor every 2 weeks now. It's going by so fast. We can't wait to meet her.

Bump Watch: 28 Weeks

Size of baby: Kabocha squash, whatever the heck that is....

Cravings: Sweets

What I'm looking forward to: I took the gestational diabetes test last week so I'm looking forward to getting the results. I really hope I passed!! I'm not sure if they will call me either way, but I have an appointment this Friday so I'm sure we'll go over the results then. We'll also get to listen to baby girl's heartbeat again, which is my favorite thing ever!!

Miss anything?: The winter months! I've been so hot lately, it's exhausting!!

Maternity clothes: The three dresses I ordered last week came and I don't really care for any of them. The shopping continues!

Movement: She's all over the place lately, I love it.

Bump Watch: 27 Weeks

Size of baby: Cauliflower

Cravings: Sweets

What I'm looking forward to: Finishing touches on the nursery. Reed put the crib together and I helped with the dresser woot woot! We put a rug down and I put the blanket I crocheted for her over the crib and it looks pretty awesome in there. It has made me a little emotional (what else is new?) looking in there and seeing the furniture set up. I was a little worried that we were putting the furniture together too soon, I kept thinking what if something happens? I guess those feelings aren't ever going to be 100% out of my mind until she's in my arms.

Miss anything?: I've had a hard time getting comfortable the last two nights. I'm starting to get really hot all the time which is kind of crappy because I'm pretty warm blooded to begin with! I refuse to lower the thermostat because I'm so frugal and I don't want a higher electric bill!

Maternity clothes: I ordered three dresses this week. They offer free shipping and free return shipping so I figured why not? I'm hoping one dress works for the shower and another dress for our maternity pictures!

Movement: She was really active over the weekend. I got a video of my stomach moving from one of her punches. She mellowed out on Sunday when I was with my sister who was hoping to feel her. Stubborn girl!

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! The nursery is starting to come together. Reed is taking some time off the beginning of August so he can finish the projects I've so lovingly given him. We have our birthing class coming up too! It's going by so fast. Pretty soon we're going to have a little baby around here.

Bump Watch: 26 Weeks

Size of baby: Zucchini

Cravings: Ice cream

What I'm looking forward to: I want to start getting the nursery in order.

Miss anything?: Energy.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: I'm feeling her move more and more. She is getting bigger and when she stretches I feel her pop out to one side. It's pretty crazy and freaked me out the first time it happened.

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! We had such a fun time in San Diego. It was so nice to get out of this heat. I'll take San Diego weather over Arizona weather any day!

Bump Watch: 25 Weeks

Size of baby: Acorn Squash

Cravings: Sweets. I need to try and have some self control with the sweets. I have the order to get the glucose test done sometime over the next couple of weeks and I want to pass that sucker with flying colors.

What I'm looking forward to: San Diego this weekend. We might splurge and go to the San Diego Zoo. They have panda bears! Yay!

Miss anything?: Energy, it's nothing a few red bulls won't fix. Just Kidding!

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: She is currently dancing to The Judds. I think Reed might disown her if she likes country over Michael Jackson...

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! Reed finished painting the nursery. I had a slumber party with our youngest niece this weekend. We went shopping, surprised Reed at work, went swimming, painted our nails, and had nachos for dinner. Surprisingly she took a nap when we got home and I stayed awake.

Bump Watch: 24 Weeks

Size of baby: Ear of Corn, basically she's starting to get HUGE!

Cravings: Sweets!

What I'm looking forward to: More nursery stuff. We're going to San Diego next weekend. I'm so excited to get out of this heat. It got up to 120 degrees over the weekend, no thank you!

Miss anything?: Soda

Maternity clothes: Nothing new. I need to start shopping for some cute outfits for my shower and our maternity pictures.

Movement: I saw my stomach move for the first time. It was pretty amazing!

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! We had a doctor's appointment last week and everything is going really well. I was worried about how much weight I've gained because we don't have a scale at home so I only know the magic number from each appointment. I'm happy to report it wasn't anything crazy and I'm right where I should be! This weeks picture shows a sneak peak of the wall color in the nursery!

Bump Watch: 23 Weeks

Size of baby: Eggplant

Cravings: Sweets!! When I'm done with this post I'm going to go on an ice cream run. Ridiculous....

What I'm looking forward to: We have a doctors appointment this week so we'll get to listen to baby girl's heartbeat! Reed is painting the nursery as I type this. I'll post pictures once he is done.

Miss anything?: Soda

Maternity clothes: I found a cute maternity dress at Target this week on clearance!! Yay!

Movement: It is still coming in waves. I haven't felt her too much today, but I felt her a lot two days ago.

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Crazy. This week I've been an emotional wreck. I'm not very emotional to begin with. I mean, I cried at the end of The Notebook so I have a heart. I just do not cry easily. These hormones plus being exhausted ALL the time have made me into a crazy person. Yesterday I started crying for no reason while in the middle of a conversation with my husband. I don't feel like myself and I haven't for a while, I think it all caught up with me this week. I'm not trying to complain by any means. This pregnancy is such a blessing and if being tired and shedding some tears is as bad as it gets, I'm one happy lady. I am looking forward to feeling like myself again. I know the exhaustion will not be going away once she is here, but hopefully I won't be as hormonal and can put sentences together without forgetting words or saying something random!

Bump Watch: 22 Weeks

My husband does NOT like taking pictures, ever! 

So I almost fell over when he told me to take his picture. It has taken me YEARS to un-program what I call the football "smile." You know how football players have to look all tough and can't have a trace of a smile on their face for their pictures? Looking through our pictures I have a duplicate of almost every single one because he's making a weird face, has his eyes closed, or isn't looking at the camera. We've come a long way and out of the thousands of pictures I have of the two of us, I have a few with his cute smile!

 Size of baby: Papaya. She should weigh about a pound at this point. Over the next four weeks she should gain another pound! Talk about a growth spurt.

Cravings: Pizza

What I'm looking forward to: We bought the paint for the nursery, now Reed needs to paint it! He took down the spare bed that was in her room so now it's pretty empty in there. It's exciting to walk by the room and imagine all her stuff filling it up.

Miss anything?: Feeling rested. I have been so exhausted the past two weeks.

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: I'm feeling her more and more. Reed finally felt four little kicks or punches on Sunday which happened to be Father's Day so that made it even more special!

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy and a little bit of moody, being tired makes me a little snappy and being tired all the time makes me a little more snappy than usual. Sorry Reed!

Bump Watch: 21 Weeks

Size of baby: Carrot

Cravings: Pizza

What I'm looking forward to: So much! We picked a paint color for the nursery so now we just need to buy it and the husband can start painting.

Miss anything?: I'm not a big drinker by any means, but I've been wanting a pina colada. My lovely friend has been on vacation the past two weeks in the Dominican Republic and San Juan so this may contribute to this craving. I know this one is easy because you don't really taste the alcohol in pina coladas so I could make myself a virgin one, but I ask where is the fun in that?

Maternity clothes: Nothing new.

Movement: It comes in waves. I'll feel her a lot and then I just feel a handful of movement throughout the day. At our anatomy scan I was told the placenta is on the front (anterior) so that acts as an extra barrier.

Gender: A sweet baby girl.

Happy or Moody: Happy! I finally felt better this week. We had house guests for the past 10 weeks or so and I spent 5 hours cleaning on Friday getting the house back to how I like it. It was AMAZING! I'm a big believer in that the environment of the house / my car/ purse affects my mood. I do not like clutter or messiness so now that the labels are all facing the same way in the pantry, I just couldn't be happier! My husband even commented that I seem happier. Poor guy, he's put up with a lot of sass from me the past few months.

Bump Watch: 20 Weeks

Size of baby: Small Artichoke

Cravings: Nothing this week

What I'm looking forward to: Starting on baby girl's nursery!

Miss anything?: Soda.

Maternity clothes: I found some shorts! Yay! I went shopping over Memorial Day weekend and found a good deal on two pairs of shorts.

Movement: She's shaking her groove thang in there. Somedays I feel her a lot and other days just a couple times in the morning or before I fall asleep.

Gender: Healthy girl!

Happy or Moody: I've been sick this week. Yuck! I pray I get better soon because round ligment pain + coughing all day = not a lot of fun. That's why this weeks photo is a picture I took myself. I didn't want to scare anyone with my half human, half zombie looking, tired face. :)

We made it to 20 weeks! I cannot believe I am halfway done with my pregnancy. I'm feeling some pressure to get everything done and read every baby book out there. We can start working on the nursery now so that will ease some of these feelings. 

Bump Watch: 18 Weeks

Size of baby: Sweet Potato

Cravings: Pizza and soda

What I'm looking forward to: Finding out baby C's gender this week. Praying for a healthy baby!

Miss anything?: Soda.

Maternity clothes: Nothing. I went shopping this week, but I'm really horrible at it. I get discouraged easily and being exhausted doesn't help.

Movement: I think I've felt a few flutters in the morning when I wake up. It's a pretty weird feeling. I can't imagine what it will feel like when baby gets bigger and starts kicking!

Gender: ????? We find out Friday.

Happy or Moody: Pretty happy this week. We were out shopping today and bought a few gender neutral onesies. It was pretty exciting to make our first baby purchase!
